Manchester United formed part of an Adidas campaign that allowed fans to design this season’s third kit.
This was a great idea on paper, involving fans in a major decision at the club, but the grey kit that ended up winning out did not go down well.
It drew comparisons with United’s last infamous grey number, which the players switched at half-time during a game with Southampton because they couldn’t pick each other out on the pitch.
As this season winds down, attention begins to turn to which designs United will sport next time around but accoring to the Manchester Evening News, it could be able to get even worse.
A “millenial pink” kit has been leaked, in what feels a lot like an April Fool’s article that has been posted early and United fans are not impressed.
