Szczesny has signed a new contract with Barcelona that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2027. The 35-year-old joined as a free agent in October 2024 and quickly became Hansi Flick’s first-choice after impressing in La Liga and the Champions League. His extension follows Barca’s €25 million (£21.5m/$29m) signing of Joan Garcia from Espanyol.
