The Mirror reported on Monday night that Fabinho could be involved in Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
The Brazil international has not turned out for Jurgen Klopp’s side since the end of November due to a knee problem, missing his team’s last eight league matches.
However, The Mirror claim that the midfielder could be back on Sunday, whilst Klopp confirmed on Tuesday that the South American was likely to return to training later in the week.

The results suggest that Fabinho has not been missed too heavily as the Reds have won each of their eight league matches in his absence.
However, a number of Liverpool fans have said that it would be a huge boost if the midfielder was to make his return against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
That said, others want Klopp to be cautious when it comes to the Brazilian as they do not want him to aggravate the issue or indeed pick up a new one having been rushed back.
Liverpool will follow this weekend’s clash against United – the only side to take points off them in the Premier League this season – with a trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers on January 23 before returning to FA Cup action on January 26.
Meanwhile, a number of the club’s fans have been reacting to comments made by Fabinho about Paris Saint-Germain and France star Kylian Mbappe.
