Ahead of this weekend’s Championship return, Aston Villa have provided their fans with some good news.
Teenager Keinan Davis has signed a new long-term contract at the Midlands outfit.
The forward, who made his senior debut in January, is now tied down to the club until at least 2020.
After getting his first glimpse of first-team action, Davis has been part of Steve Bruce’s squad this season.
The youngster earned his first star in a league clash against Norwich City in August and went on to score his first goal in a win over Barnsley.
So far in the 2017-18 campaign, Davis has started 11 Championship fixtures and has been part of 14 games in all competitions.
In that time, the attacking starlet has found the back of the net twice and has registered one assist.
It is safe to say that the Villans were delighted after the news of Davis’s deal was announced.
