The German side faces stiff competition from Greece for the Iranian international's signature. Panathinaikos are reportedly the favourites to sign Taremi, having already submitted an official offer to Inter. Their rivals, Olympiacos, share a similar level of interest to Werder Bremen but have also not yet tabled a concrete bid.
DID YOU KNOW?
Taremi only joined Inter on a free transfer from FC Porto in July 2024. He has since struggled for form, scoring just three goals in 43 appearances. The striker has not played a single minute for Christian Chivu's side this season and does not appear to be part of the manager's plans, despite having a contract until 2027.

Werder Bremen and Olympiacos will have to move quickly to formalise their interest if they hope to hijack the deal before the window shuts.
