It has been a while since Leeds United fans have been happy with the club’s ownership.
Now, under the rule of Andrea Radrizzani, the future looks bright for the Whites.
The Italian has sanctioned the signings of 11 players this summer, and he made good on his promise to buy back Elland Road.
The most recent transfer development coming from the club is the new contract for defender Liam Cooper, who has committed himself to Leeds for at least the next four years.
The 25-year-old has been part of the Leeds fold since 2014 when he moved from Chesterfield, and since then he has made 91 appearances and scored two goals.
Radrizzani sent his congratulations to Cooper on Twitter shortly after the announcement was made.
Fans responded to the owner’s tweet by thanking him for all the work that he has done so far.
Leeds kicked off their Championship campaign last weekend when they picked up a 3-2 win over Bolton Wanderers.
Tomorrow, the Whites will take on Preston North End on home soil.
